Hi,
First of all, thanks for the smcenter, it is great.
I have smcenter v1 and i'm trying to start the program remotely, by webpage or remote desktop (windows xp), but when the program starts i get the error $80004005.
Is there any configuration that fixes this?
Thanks, c3f8

Hi,
I don't understand exactly what you are trying to do. You mean changing the channel from Star Remote Chat?

Hi,
The all story is, i have Star Media Center installed in my home pc and sometimes i let the computer on but i forget to run Star Media Center.
I tried from another computer (my parents house pc) by Windows Remote Desktop to connect to my home computer and launch Star Media Center in broadcast mode so i can watch in Star Remote Chat or in Windows Media Player. When i tried to launch SMC, using Windows Remote Desktop, i always get error $80004005.
Thanks, c3f8

Hmmm try using another method or remote desktop such as Real VNC. Windows Remote Desktop Connection interferes with the video layer.
